Lantern measures approximately 10 and 1/2 inches tall not counting handle. On the very top it says Adlake Reliable The Adams & Westlake Co. New York Chicago Phila. also on the edges of the top are the numbers 563 and a bunch of patent dates starting with Sept. 21 1897 and ending with April 13, 1913 also on top are the letters C.C & C.S.R.R. The globe is clear except for the letters D & RGRR Lantern appears to be in good condition but could use a good cleaning, however I will leave cleaning to the new owner.
Okay so I'm a bit confused about this section of the questionier but here it goes. I have a 15 piece handcrafted wooden 3 tier spoon rack with craved in flowers and 2 doves. I think it is absolutly beautiful and I want to learn more about it, like who made it and how old it is. This piece will be pasted down for generations in my family.
There is a red and gold (crown) label on the bottom of the small table that has Ferguson Treasured Furniture,Ferguson Bros. ,Hoboken,N.J., No. 2108. There is also written in pencil the number 27 on the bottom of the small table. The style is like Stickley. The legs are square, tapered. The tops are routed around the edges instead of sharp edges. They have green felt underneath each top so they wouldn't scratch when stacked. They are very plain,no drop leafs or no glass top,etc.. The construction is wooden pegs that hold the legs to wooden strips which are held in place to the tops by screws. They do need refinished as most of the finish is missing on the tops. Any help to find the age or value would be great. I do not want to sell.Thank you.
