Along the Seine

Category
Fine Art
Condition
Good
Description

I believe it is an oil on canvas from the late 19th century or early 20th century.  It is looking down the Seine river in Paris with Notre Dame in the background.  The painting is dirty, and there is a crease in the upper right corner.  There is a clear signature, but it is unreadable to me.   The frame is a plain wooden frame painted gold. Any help with the artist name or its value is appreciated.

Incense Burner

Category
Silver and Silver Overlay
Condition
Excellent
Description

The information left with this silver incense burner were notations of some plates in a book titled, "ĽArgenterie Péruvienne a ĽÉpoque Coloniale" (Peruvian Silver in Colonial Times) by Raoul d'. Harcourt. It looks very similar to the incense burner on Plate 1 (shown), without the ornate stand. It's just the top, round part on a triangular stand. Not quite as ornate as the one pictured.
