tinted blue glass. brighter blue flowers and green leaves. the top lights and so does the bottom. I believe the legs(bottom) is brass. There are no chips, cracks, or any other issues.
Oil painting on canvas , size is 20' X 24" has some cracking and staining of some type.
Mounted in an older frame with some scratch and dents, but overall in fairly good condition.
Artist signature in bottom left corner-signed G. WhiTman, the T is capitalized, scene is of Mt. Carmel snow covered landscape with trees on both sides and river in middle and Mt. Carmel in distance.
Has 3 small, very old, chips top, no cracks or crazing, appears salt glazed with brown and orangish shades. Bung? hole on top and spigot hole on bottom side. This piece is only marked with Stiff Lambeth London, not Stiff and Sons, or Doulton Lambeth, or other marks from company. Assuming to be pre- Sons, when he first opened his own shop, but would like to know for sure. May or may not be interested in selling, still have room to keep it for a while. I was unable to get a close AND clear picture of mark.
My grandmother passed these on to me and I was wondering what their value was. There is a plate, two little plates, saucer and cup for 12 people. Also A large and smaller platter, creamer, and gravy boat.
