Was told it was made of teak, we aren"t sure. We don't know anything about it, some old man was trying to tell us things, but we'd like to know a little more. The bottoms of all the chairs are stamped black "1890 HONDERICH" . Table comes with 3 leaves and 6 matching chairs. We were told the chairs were never reupholstered or refinished. I can't seem to find any information on Honderich Furniture Company though, other than that it was in Ontario, I believe.

 This is a complete set of chessmen, hand-carved out of African elephant ivory in the early 1960's. The figures measure from 2 1/2 inches (pawns) to 4 inches (kings and queens) and are very african in design. They are natural in color for the white peices and dyed black for the opposing black pieces. All peices are there and intact. They were brought back to the United States some time in the 60's and have been in my family ever since then.

i was just curious as to what kind of ring this is and if it's real

I've never seen a ring like this, i don't know if it's a ruby or gemstone
