Wilcox silverplate Jewlery Casket

Category
Silver and Silver Overlay
Condition
Fair
Description

Beautiful little filagree jewelry box.  It is tarnished, but I'm afraid to try and polish it until I know more about it.  the silk lining is badly deteriorated and and not sure what the original color is.  The box itself seems to be in good condition.  Found one similar to it on another website, but would like to know the age and approximate value.  There is a bland spot on top that I think may have been for engraving, but it has not been.  unfortunately the seller had no information.
