I have had this dresser for years handed down. My wife no longer likes the antique theme. I am curious what I can learn about the dresser and I would consider sell somewhere down the line
The condition is excellent. The colors and gold are bright with no wear except for the gold on the hair piece, see pix. There is a small red mark on the nose, see pix. There is a small chip on the underside of the left hand, see pix. I have been told that the piece is Japanese Moriage porcelain and that with no mark it may be quite old. NOTE. I am unable to upload more than two pix at this site because the browse button disappears. Please email me for many more photos at [email protected].
This is a rare Precious Moment, only a few smiling dunce boy pieces were made, before the artist realized that the boy was supposed to be frowning. It was made in 1982, and has an hourglass marking on the bottom. The last known price that I could find for this piece was in 2007, and it was worth $500 - $600.
Antique large buffet of unknown origin. Made from dark solid wood, has fancy style ring pulls with backings for drawers, some inlaid wood. Drawers are put together without nails.
See pictures for sample... Please let me know if you need to see more of the details.
see pics. I know nothing about these items except that they are old and inside the chest is stamped "Honderich". all the items are in working condition but there is damages to the tops of the dressers and the chest. I cannot find stamping of the name on the dressers or mirror.
