Poster "Democratic Republican Mass Meeting" at Tammany Hall - The Democratic Republican (which is mispelled on the poster) Electors. Any help on this - Value, history, etc. very much appreciated. Thanks
The buckle was found by my Great-Grandmother, as her father was plowing a field, in Dawson Springs, KY. My estimate of time is between 85-95 years ago. On the front of the buckle, at the bottom it reads: 'In Memory of Our Dear President' and on the back it reads: 'Official Design Approved by Mrs. A. Lincoln'. On the back under the writing is 'L-36' and above the writing are some letters in a box. They appear to be a backwards 'B' and next to it a regular 'B' and underneath both 'B's is a 'W'. The buckle is very detailed.'
I have looked through thousands of chandeliers and have yet to find one like this. So I decided to find an appraisal. There are no crystals currently hanging from the chandelier although there are places designated for same. The dimensions of my pictures are larger than 600x600 pixels - is there an e-mail address I can forward picture to? Thanks ... Lisa F.
Finally got a photo uploaded - had to cut out a lot to get down to 600 x 600 but here it is - there are a total of eight lights - can only see four in the picture ... also, photo does not show the bottom which in a way mimics the top as far as the curves ... thanks in advance for any input ...
