my grandparents came here from belgium in the early 1950's. when my grandmother died ten years ago, i inherited her collection of silver pieces. i have been able to identify most of her pieces, which seem to come mostly from canadian makers, but this piece i am having trouble with. there is a partial crest on the back and the second half of what appears to be a name ending in "ley". there is also a capital S under the crest. this piece is much heavier than the others that i have. i am wondering if you could identify the maker, origin, age, and value of this piece.
These records are from its original owner who had them in stored in a box tightly sealed. He forgot all about them until he moved. 3 of the records are from and 3 part album with songs such as "Love is the thing", Stay as sweet as you are", "When I fall in Love", "Maybe it's because I love you too much", "Stardust", Love Leters", "Aint Misbehavin'". And the most memorable song he ever done "UNFORGETTABLE". Their all in great condition with the original covers
This 14k gold leafed antique pocket watch with admiral chain was my great great grandfather's. I would like to have it appraised to see what it is worth. It was made in 1925 and serialized.
