Very pretty bowl. The flowers on the inside of the bowl are outlined with gold. There is some type of "pit", you can see it between the bottom left and the top flower in this picture.
The handpainted scene on the face of the platter depicts a cottage on a lake at dusk with a young tree in the foreground. The rim of the platter has a continuous gold line. It is a unique size (to me), perhaps a bread platter? I am not a very good photographer and the pictures really don't do it justice. The emblem on the bottom is actually dark grey but the flash made it appear silver.
Local farm house, still had orginal label shipped to Pocomoke Md. (Local) Mantel has soild oak or veneer covering complete mantel, has a beveled mirror. The mantel has two shelves with the beveled glass mirror found between the two shelves. The unit is in excellent condition, mouldings are complete, not damaged, the veneer is complete with no parts or pieces missing. The front of the bottom mantel is moon shaped with decorative oak trim surrounding the shelf and solid moulding around the beveled glass. Under each shelf on each side is found a large oak bracket with soild trim. The mantel is painted with one coat of white paint. Can I get the value of the unit as listed and what the unit would be refinished?
I found this case of old Astring-O-Sol bottles of mouthwash and wanted to know how much it might be worth. All 12 bottles in the case are there, along with their labels (one or two are coming off at the edges, but they are all whole, no tears or rips), and all the bottles are full and unused. The box has a bit of water damage, but is structurally sound. I can send a picture of an individual bottle if that would help. Would these be worth anything, and if so, how much? Thanks! Linda
