London: Dean and Sons, Printers, [no date but probably mid 19th century]. Contains 6 pages with colored illustrations and movable figures. Green cloth spine with pictorial orange covers. First Edition? A scarce moveable children's book, with many pages still in working order.
First scene with three moveable pieces but missing one piece and paper handle to operate all; second scene has 2 movable pieces and paper handle intact; third scene has 2 movable pieces but the handle is missing; fourth scene has 4 moveable pieces, but one is disconnected from paper handle; fifth scene has two movable pieces and handle intact; sixth scene has 2 movable pieces but handle is missing; Overall fairly well preserved with moderate wear and rubbing to binding and pages dirty and slightly torn in spots. Missing about 1-3/4 x 4 in of front cover illustration.

Each plate has an assortment of the same birds and flowers, and although they are arranged in unique collages on every plate, they go together as a set.

Childrens book: Rutledge's Coloured Picture Book. Har cover with black or dark blue cloth binding Four stories with color illustrations: Puss and Her Kittens, The Farm Yard, Greedy Tem and His Six Brothers, The Frog that Would A-Wooing Go.
Pages in good condition except that the pages for Greedy Tem and His Six Brothers are missing - otherwise binding is intact. Front and back covers are worn but not torn.
