McCoy Pottery?

Category
Pottery
Condition
Excellent
Description

I have been told that earlier McCoy pieces had the U.S.A. on the bottom with the S and dot were a little sideways.  Can anyone tell me if this is a real McCoy???  The S and dot are not in line.

Asian scalloped plate

I bought this at an estate sale that I attended with a friend. I think this is a hand painted plate it's signed with red paint, in a gold box with two gold symbols. I think it's Japanese because of the geisha.
