Vase?? Not sure what this is

Category
Ceramics and Porcelains
Description

I'm not sure what you would call the item I want appraised.  I purchased this at a garage sale a few years ago and liked it cuz of the colors.

I has the words fortis ut plams florebit and the years 1838 stamped on the coat of arms.

On the bottom there is printing (which I can't read) and also number 684.

I'm looking for what this items and an appraisal price if possible.

Wish I knew more or had more of a description.

Wellington piano

Category
Music and Music Instruments
Condition
Excellent
Description

Wellington piano, in great shape for as old as it looks. I do not know the year it was made, I tried looking up via piano blue book but my serial # wasn't listed... Which is weird. Serial#: 134258

all the keys work, and there is no damage/gouges/dents or pieces missing. Visibly, there are very minimal scratches from what looks like moving-induced. All 3 petals are here and inside the piano looks excellent as well. A little dusty from sitting in our storage room but that's it. Key cover and everything else functions perfectly.

we would like to know how much this appraises for and if any other info is needed please advise!!

Antique Rocking Chair- Maple

Category
American Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

Rocking Chair: Solid maple, turned side legs. Chair has not been refinished. Two screws attach runner to legs. Sturdy and comfortable.  I believe the style of chair is a lilly-ladderback.

Was told by a custom-furniture designer in San Francisco that the chair appears to be made in the late 1800s.
I've owned the chair for over 20 years.
