Hot Air Balloon Chandelier

Category
Lamps and Chandeliers
Condition
Good
Description

Hi, someone was giving this away because they really disliked it,I though it was adorable so they gave it to me for free.  Came home did a little research and cannot find one like this anywhere on internet only ones similar.  Not really looking to sell, but would love to know if it has any value and from what time period would it be from.  Not sure if it is vintage or not, but it is in really good shape, has been rewired or is a replica of an older one because the wiring that is on it is not from a vintage time.  The shades are not paper as I would guess an older one would have, but more of a vinyl type material. May or may not have been repainted, I do not know.  No markings to identify.  All tassels are there. It appears to be a mixture of wicker, iron, and not sure what the tassels are made of.  They are very light almost like plastic, but I do not think that is what they are made of.  Hope I provided enough information you are able to help.  Oh, and it measures about 29" tall, not including tassel at bottom x 19" from tip of flower leaf to tip and about 13 pounds.  Thank you, Christine

Blue and White floral stoneware jar

Category
Pottery
Condition
Fair
Description

This "jar" for lack of a better word is 8" high, looks like cement or stoneware with a blue and white porcelain overlay, in rough shape.  The handles are interesting in that they seem to be lion heads with a iron (rusted) ring through the lion's mouth, similiar to a door knocker.  It might have had a lid at one time.

Just curious as to what it might be.  Recently purchased at a flea market.

Thanks!
