I got this from a thrift shop yesterday. I really want to know it's real value but i have no way of doing it for free. I search the internet and a link led this site to me. Tall dresser, on carved or milled legs. Some embellishments and curves. I havent looked closely for any manufacture markings or date, sorry. Hoping to get a feel for period and style as much as a ballpark appraisal, I have no idea about this piece I just liked it. Bought it from a friend 25 years ago, it was a family piece handed down and we've lost touch long ago, so I cant get additional info there. There is one broken drawer pull and one chip in the veneer, on a drawer. Also, how do I find a matching drwaer pull, anyone?
Matching 6 piece bedroom suite, including 5-drawer highboy, 7-drawer vanity dresser with oval mirror and bench chair, one night table (with drawer and cupboard), head board and foot board for double bed: highboy has label reading "The Middlesex Furniture Co.
