Oak Desk

Category
Furniture
Condition
Excellent
Description

41ā€D by 74ā€W x 29.5ā€H.  Solid oak ambassador’s desk from the German consulate in York City, circa 1920s.  Handcrafted by Werkstatten J. Dickerhoff, fine German cabinetmakers (founded in 1880, still in business). 4 drawers 30ā€ deep.  Slide out writing panel.  The inner edge is actually curved.  Supposedly there were only two of these made.  I'd like to get somebody's opinion of the value of this.  Thanks.
