Reddish red bamboo mirror. Its obviously hand made and the metal is formed by hand. I know there is a sticker on the back, but I cant get the thing down by myself, its VERY heavy. Mirror is beveled and only has one spot in it.
Two spherical glass vases with flattened rims and transfer prints of children playing in the country side on the face. They are a creamy coloured opaque glass with four leaf shaped feet in clear glass. There is also some applied clear glass in scallops under the rim. On the rear side there is a picture of a spray of grass or wheat.
I was given this desk by a dear friend but am moving to a smaller apartment and need to sell it. The problem is that I don't know anything about it or what an appropriate asking price would be. There is a little bit of writing on the inside of the center drawer, a small separation of the wood on the side (as shown in the picture below), and one of the parts of the back right foot is a bit loose. What would be an appropriate asking price?
Star of Davd Punch Bowl set., Ect. The age is anywhere from the 1850s to the 1900s. It is in Mint Condition and very beautiful. The punch Bowl comes with pedestal and six glasses and I also have and extra seven glasses that can go with it. I have five saucers, two creamer servers, a candy dish, and a vase.
Antique Danforth Constellation Marine Compass. Manufactured right around 1970, this compass also has adjustable Kelvin's spheres (the iron balls mounted on either side) and is mounted on a wooden box for easy portability. The compass works perfectly with rewiring necessary to get the infrared light to turn it on.
The Chrome housing is in great shape, and the directional printing on the compass itself is very nice.
