I am trying to find out the maker and pattern of this and what was it used for? It's a 3 handle I'm guessing small vase or creamer? And what's the value of it? Theres no makers stamp or defining marks to my knowledge on it.
This is a print by the late Korean-French artist, Kim Tschang Yeul. It is signed and dated (1986) and marked as an epreuve d'artiste (artist proof). This is one in a series of 7 similar prints (waterdrops on newspaper) that he did in 1986. I have the other 6 as well.
It was given to my family as a gift from the Kim family in 1986. The artist's son stayed with us one summer as an exchange student. For 17 years it was stored in a tube in a closet. Since then I have kept it in a acid-free environment away from light.
