I purchased the bowl from a reputable antiques dealer in southwestern Pennsylvania, from whom I had purchased and consigned many items over a 10 year period, mostly porcelain and pottery. At first I consigned the bowl, but later decided to purchase it. I don't remember how much I paid her for it, but think it was about $125-$150. We had a long standing business relationship and she always gave me a fair price on items for resale. The blue underglaze mark is an arrow with a line through it. I've thought it to be from an early German factory, undecorated to be given to an outside decorator, but never was. Some think the line through the arrow denotes a piece that is imperfect, others think it denotes a piece ready to be sent to a decorator outside the factory. Tiny black dot in bottom of the bowl is a factory flaw. There are no other chips or cracks, not even in the glaze. Bottom of foot is unglazed. An online appraisal a few years ago placed the value around $700.00

Beautiful Antique Smuggler Race Horse & Sulky Weathervane. Solid copper has aged beautifully. This beauty is on the roof of a 164 year old colonial I have just purchased. It appears to be hand crafted and is three dimensional. I believe this to be from the 19 century. Very large. My husband got up on the roof during the storm, but we didnt see any markings on it. It appears to have some small repair on the rode itself. Im estimating the size to be 2.5-3' long x 1.5' tall. The rod is a easy 4' long.

I have the serial number which is 13554753, it says 15 Jewels on the back where theserial number is.  On the case it reads guaranteed 25years Jboss then there is a stamp and number 7759808. Then on the otter part of the case it reads Keystone watch case with another stamp and the # 775808 again.  It does work and did come with a chain.   It has very tailed art work on it.  There seems to be a house or church on it maybe.

Large decorative serving bowl.  Rose colored on the inside and white on the bottom.  Scalloped edges.  Marking unknown maker.
