I bought this from an antique shop in northern California 3 years ago. The store owner got it at an estate sale in the Oakland hills. He said it was made in the 1960's. It has a 1 " label on the bottom 2 " diameter stem that goes in the black base that says "Smart Italia." Tha's all I know about it.
I would like to find out who made it, how rare it is, and what it is worth.
It has gold accents as a flower on the inside on the bottom of the coffee cups, flowers on the outside on the handle and a ring of gold around the top inside of the cup. On all items it has a painted picture of lovers sitting in a meadow, also all items have similar gold accents.
this is a two handled handpainted oriental vase. The dragon appears to be painted with gold. I was told it is pre 1900 . There is some sort of oriental markings on the bottom, but I don't know if it is Chinese or Japanese
