Hand Painted Plate with Hortense in the center - 5 figures surrround this figure - Marie Louise, Josephine, Madame Recanier. No chips or cracks. A few black specs on the plate are noticeable.
This set was my mother's or grandmother's, it's at least 80-100 years old, if not older. The set consists of a coffeepot (or tall teapot), a sugar bowl, and a creamer. The handle on the coffee/teapot is black, as is the little knob on the top of the pot. Both my Mom and my grandmother are deceased, so I have no info. about these items. I'd like to know how old this set might be and what it might be worth. Unfortunately, at the moment, I cannot provide a photo (my digital camera is broken)
Can anyone tell me anything about this picnic basket,has saddaris/saddoris in wood letters on top and has a wood shelf divider in the basket,brass nailed hinges,trim is nailed on,an interesting basket but can find nothing online about it.Thanks Melvin
