This is a very unique oil painting of what looks like an old woman (native american?) smoking a joint. The paint looks aged because of the crackling it has. There is a small scratch to the paint above the womans head (see picture). I took this to Appraisal Day at the local library and the appraiser loved it, but couldn't tell me anything about it. He did mention the great detail on the hands and face. He also said that the face looked familiar, as though he had seen other painting with the same woman. I am trying to find out if anyone can tell who signed this(listed artist?). It looks like TS, but that is all I can make out. I am wondering what the value would be and the age. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!
This is a framed photograph with a sticker on the back that reads museum of Modern Art NY. The subject is Fernand Leger Studio, Paris 1952. Photographer is Alexander Liberman. The back is taped shut, so I am assuming that at one point it had been reframed or opened. I know nothing about this and I would like to know if it has any value. How can I tell if it is an original photo? Did they used to sell framed photos from the Museum of Modern Art? Where can I look up original photographs by Alexander Liberman? I have not taken the black tape off the back. Thanks to all who look!

This is a fortune magazine from December 1932, I picked it up at a thrift store and was wondering if it would be worth anything. It's in pretty good condition considering it's age.

A deceased sister (died early in 2001) collected Lalique, and we have stored much of it for many years. This particular piece is not only undamaged, but still has the original sticker as listed above on top between the feet, but also two stickers on bottom. One: Marshall Fields dept 113 class 043, vendor 004 style 11643 Liberte (accent on the last e) $1350.00. The other small one has simply 11643 handwritten.
I believe this is the only piece we have with the original stickers still on it. Would it be better to sell the pieces we have as a lot (a few have some small damage, and most are listed on various receipts from LaLique New York) or piece it out?
What's happening in the crystal market now?
