elephant ivory hand-carved figurine 12 inches tall

Category
General Antiques and Collectibles
Condition
Mint
Description

have this from a relative that was stationed in the 90's in Angola in the romanian army. Im going to try and find out the village or region he was in...but what i want to know is roughly what its worth ?and if it does have some value ill want to have it appraised. It is exactly twelve (12) inches in height and their is a name carved on the bottom back side , NGUMA is what it looks like to me. I have more pictures and can take pictures of anything you need specifically to show you if you need more. Otherwise Im interested in hearing what your opinions and prof. advice would be with this figurine.
