I have a Roos Cedar chest with flower decals on the front middle and both ends. The bottom has paper decal with #587 still visible. I would like to know if anyone can estimate the value
This is a large, heavy pottery piece that features 6 faces wearing black painted head dresses with an interesting design. There are a few hairline cracks throughout the piece and a couple of faces have chips in them. I purchased this item at a thrift store and do not know any provenance or history on item. There are no markings on this piece.
Plate #6990P, Bradex # 84-R70-39. The plate depicts what looks to be a grandfather at a table with his 2 granddaughters. The eldest granddaughter is pouring cookies or snacks on a plate. The grandfather is looking on with a fork in his right hand while the youngest child sits on a book with a ragdoll in her arms. A black and white kitten peeks out from the eldest girls chair. Again, the certificate of authentication and original paperwork is contained with in the box, which I was told was rarely opened.
I have no way of getting you a picture, but the item is in mint condition.
Wood on chairs are in excellent condition but for one small nick on one chair. They need a finish and upholstered seat - I am will have that done but not sure what color they would have been originally. Can you advise please, Thanks
