The cedar chest is about 5 feet wide by 2feet tall by two feet deep. It is a family heirloom, that belonged to my great great grandma. It probably came from Germany or Czechoslovakia.
It is a silver plated Tchiavosky's Nutcracker bell....has the nutcracker on the top of the bell as a handle, and has CHRISTMAS 1992...engraved in the side of the bell...with a red ribbon tied as a bow around the handle....
Just want to know more about this stamps meaning and history.
Having trouble attaching pics. It appears to have a lion and lioness kissingwith a couple of coins and possibly a shield upon their backs. They are perched upon this square base, and there is text on two side of the base and chinese symbols/designs on the bottom. The bottom is stained with blue ink from previous use.
