I have a full set of about 70 pieces, service for eight plus serving and very unusual bar utensils. This comes from Thailand earlier than 1959 because my parents got it as a wedding gift.
I have a 200 yr old handforged japanese short sword.... no handle, only metal... a few spots of flaking or leafing whatever its called.... and some pitting of the steel. i paid $100 dollars for it... is it worth more or did i get ripped off?
Large water bowl and jug, there are no markings on either of these items, they have been in our family for over 50 years. The scene is hand painted, the edges are golden edged. There are no chips on either of the items but the jug looks like it has a hairline crack.
Can you tell me anything about this unique tea pot? I am not sure that it is a teapot but I think so. It seems to be made of some sort of copper and both the handle and spout are dragons.I do not see any makers marks on it. The dragons and trim are some sort . of silver.
