This is a large antique steamer trunk my mother bought a few years back. I think the previous owner repainted it but it's in very good condition. The inside is all original and features three pictures, a removable tray which has two compartments (one is a hat box, not sure about the other), and two compartments built into the lid. The ones in the lid have metal latches to keep them shut and are all still intact. The inside hinge is broken but it still opens and closes properly. On the back bottom corner it is dated Aug 3, 69; the front locks are dated July 1, 73. The wood is in great shape on the inside and the outside seems to have only one small scuff on it.
This is an Underwood Standard No. 5 Typewriter. I just picked it up off Craigslist. My best guess is that it was made around 1924.
This typewriter is very clean and in excellent condition. It still types. All keys, switches, and cylinder still work and slide smoothly. Paint is intact with few signs of wear. I intend to thoroughly clean it and put in a new ribbon.
I'm curious what this beautiful machine is worth. Please contact me with any pertinent questions. Thanks for looking!
Black Leather baby carriage by F.A. Whitney Carriage Company . It has wooden handles and a wooden base under the bed section. Leather covered metal wheels with brakes and the bottom frame is also metal. It has a leather sun shield and the cushion inside is in excellent condition. The whole baby carriage is in excellent condition. I have no idea about age or value. It has springs that seem to be in excellent shape as well
