Given to my husband's dad 23 years ago.  My farther in law recieved it from his aunt.  His aunt got it from her dad.  It is glued together, and has cylinders in the seat in which go into holes in the back of the rocking chair.

This presidential pardon was granted to my Uncle's Father in 1934, restoring all citizenship rights and pardoning a fine of $1000. He was sentenced to serve 2 years in 1927 for violating banking regulations, served the time but was unable to pay the fine.
