Paintings inspired by the U.S. Open "Eyes on The Ball"

Category
Paintings
Condition
Mint
Description

Stills of the players were obtained and vectorized, a graphic designing process which involved adjusting the attributes of a photo until its looks like a series of sillouettes, including only black, white and grays. The canvas had then been painted "U.S open tennis court blue", tennis balls that have been dipped in red, yellow and green paint were groundstroked against the canvas. Followed by a meticulous stencil-making process that required a seperate composition for each shade on the player. Which was then spraypainted on layer by layer to achieve the result.

Huckleberry Finn

Category
Books and Manuscripts
Condition
Good
Description

TYPE 7, The first of the 1600 series. Beautiful artwork covers, unfortunately artist is unknown. A total of 21 titles, all coming with :49 after the number, this is the retail price, 49 cents. While this set was in production the company received too many complaints by their retail 5 & 10 etc, retailers, so you will find most of these later editions with :49 removed. I've seen many copies with 59c. stickers on them. Also their is no classic logo on the series, lastly #1619 Davy Crockett, had a limited production run, not found without :49. There are minor variations in this set. Like the Florian glossys, these didn't hold up all that well either, mainly spine peeling, is most common. This is # 1606 in black numbers, 1955, rubbing bottom left, abridged version ,otherwise nice book.

Fine Art
Condition
Good
Description

Not sure on the history of the picture, this piece was purchased at a thrift store.  It is framed in a solid wood frame and the picture itself seems as if it were sketched.  The artists signature is hard to read, there is a pic of the signature attached. Please contact me with any questions you may have.
