I know very little about Nippon, but from my own research I believe this is an early unmarked Nippon moriage vase. The vase is in mint condition with the exception of a couple very tiny pieces of moriage missing (3 in total less than 1/4" each). There is very light crazing on the entire vase. The bottom rim of the vase, where the vase sits and there is no paint or glaze, the bare ceramic appears to have a slight pinkish hue to it. The vase has 2 heavily moriage birds and 2 painted lightly moriage bird, moriage lace and beading all over. I have no idea what the value of this vase may be.
Purchased through Craigs List. Owner purchased at Luke Airforce Base Auction. Owner states she was told the bed was brought from Germany during world war II by high ranking military. Bed had moving sticker. I used to own an antique german bed and recognized the fasteners. The construction seems more Swiss or Bavarian. I believe the stained headboard represents significant age. The piece seems to be had carved/planed. Also, I have been UNABLE to find anything like it on the internet.
This is a pocket watch from 1872 given to me by my uncle. Is in perfect running condition.has black antiquing on both sides of the watch -back side - the antiquing is a little worn. The box is pretty scratched up. The box has blue velvet material on the inside which the material looks like it has been water damaged. The pocket wacth has a few scratches on the inside -none on the outside. I do not have a camera so I can't take any pictures, so if you could give me the closest appraisal possible.
