These chairs were purchased at a small antique store in Pacific Beach, CA (San Diego). The store owner stated he acquired them from an estate sale from a friend in the same area. The store owner also stated they may be almost 100 years old. The chairs are in very good condition if they are that old. I have only seen surface damage that can easily be repaired when restored. The seat covers look hand stitched and need to be cleaned. I just wanted to see if anyone can tell what type of wood they might be made of, the type/style of the chairs, retail price (if any), and if they are worth restoring. Any information will be greatly appreciated...
