I found this in a crawlspace of a house I just purchased in Sandy Oregon. Sandy is an old mining town and the house was built in the early part of the century.
This table is described as a Empire Card Table, Lyre Motive(without strings). It is circa 1815 and was purchased in the 1970's by my mother. It is generally is good shape. It has little metal wheels attatched on the bottom and the top folds open.
This is a wooden trunk with leather straps. It does have a removeable insert tray. Fairly good condition. One broken leather strap. The brand is Neverbreak G&S. L. Goldsmith & Son trunk. Made in Newark, New Jersey. Time Era between 1910-1940. 24''x36''x13''. I do have pictures but can not get them to upload.
