I found this item at an antique store in Milledgeville, GA. It still has the instruction manual with it. There is also a letter in the drawer to a farmer in Durham, NC dated 1943 form the Department of Agriculture. It also has a metal case in one of the drawers with items for the machine in it. It also has original thread and needles inside.More photos available upon request.
The Chalice has an etched rim of some kind of flower and leaf pattern. The base has 6 lines/circles around it. It has no scratches and doesn't appear to have ever been used. The bottom is marked Tiffany & co makers 13171 18 Kt. gold and has an m at the bottom that looks like a greek letter. Above the stamp is a small number 601 that looks like it was etched into the gold by hand. It is a very reflective yellow gold.
I came across this guitar from my grandfather- this guitar was purchased by him and was hardly ever used- just sat there most of the time. I found it recently while me and my mother will cleaning out the attic. It looks to be an Ibanez Iceman- the characteristics of it- but than there are a lot of differences- like the 0 fret which I know Ibanez doesn't have.
The guitar has floating string balancers (I think that is what they are called) and is very heavy.
What do you guys think?
I have a few more pictures- if you need to see something specific on it please let me know!
