This is a Koken Barber chair believe to be from the 1940's.  The chair is in good condition and all accessories are with the chair.  The chair has been in the family since it was purchased in 1940 by my Father-in-law's Father-in-law.  The chair was a gift to my Father-in-law as a wedding present.  The chair has been kept in a barn for most of its life. The chair might be a little dusty, but with some love can be a great piece to anybody's collection.

Good material, nice look classic look, and the form is different and long lasting plus it was a gift /rare.

An intriguing bracelet that appears to have a avariety of scenes carved into the abalone cabachons, which are set in intricate silver frames embelished with little marquesite crystals. Since the tongue of the clasp has the words "GOD" on it, perhaps the scenes are Biblical.

I would appreciate it if anyone can tell me anything about this bracelet of if there is any hint of its value.

Scene is Blacksmith barn with horse and kid running with dog. If someone can give me some info on this it would be great.

I found this at a flea market. It is obviously very old and unusual. If you look on the back, you will see little mother of pearl medalions set in square filligree panels which are joine to one another with silver rings. The closure is a pin that slides through interlocking tubes on either end of the bracelet. On the front of the mother of pearl medallions are intricate hand painted scenes that are mostly intact: flowers, a portrait, a psi of ducks, a pair os birds, a reclining animal with long horns and another portrait.

The reclining animal looks like a Saola, a forest-dwelling bovine found only in the Annamite Range of Vietnam and Laos.

The ducks look like Fulvous Whistling Ducks, also found in Vietnam. So, maybe the bracelet is from Vietnam.

I would appreciate it if anyone can tell me anything about this bracelet of if there is any hint of its value.
