The finish has some holster ware and the barrel is slightly pitted. The pistol is cleaned and oiled and is operable. Handles like a custom weapon. Firing pin in excellent shape. If you require pictures, I will attempt to send them.
My mother bought these plates from a middle-aged schoolteacher back in the 1970's. They are a set of one large plate which is 12 inches across (see photo) and 6 smaller plates which are 7.5 inches in diameter. There are no marking on any of the plates.
Large Iris's (3) with Humming bird. On black canvas with gold or brass frame. Frame has the vanguard studio's markings and name. Picture is also numbered #132563. Has Lee Reynolds signature in lower left corner.
This cabinet had belonged to my grandparents most likely from the turn of the century and moved to our North Carolina house when my father moved here with us 17 years back. It served as a greeting table in the front hall of his home and unfortunately has no real place in our home. I need to know if it is a Duncan Pfyfe piece since I have been unable to find any illustrations of this anywhere and I want some info on it before I try to sell it.
