This is a dinner set that was given to my parents for a wedding gift in 1955. It was a setting for 8 which consited of Dinner plates, entre plates, bowels, cups and saucers, and soup bowels. unfortunately some of this has gone missing but still a full set for 4 plus extras.
This figurine is on an oval base. The bottom is lined in gold. There is a young girl in a blue dress with tan apron who is embrassing a young boy in brown overalls and a light colored long sleeve shirt that is pushed up his arm. There is a basket of flowers dropped at their feet.I have no idea the name of this figurine or its value. I would appriciate any help. Thank you!!!
This is a small lock box for money or valuables, disguised as a book. It is leather, and, apparently brass, with a lock. The item is locked and we do not have the key. The cover shows a circular emblem stating “Bank of America” and in the center an image of a ship with three sails. The binding, cover, and back is printed: "The Way to Save, Vol. 1" "National Trust Association, 1st Edition" "Bankers' Utilities Co. San Francisco, Patented July 3rd, 1926, made in the USA"
This bronze statue was done from the painting "The Death Dealer" by Frank Frazetta. The sculpture was created by Frank Frazetta and Randy Bowen and was commisioned by Dark Horse Comics for sale to the public. The edition was limited to 50 copies of which this is #40. Frazetta's signature is on the bronze whereas the nameplate lists the title of the piece as well as having both artist's credited. It is mounted on a dark green marble base.
