This is a decanter of some sort, or possibly a teapot. The base contains a votive candle, and it is painted in a peasant theme, with a man and woman holding hands who look to be possibly dutch(??)
This is a 7.5"x10.5" sketch in a 15"x20" frame. The drawing itself is in excellent condition, no imperfections. This is an intricately carved soapstone sculpture of a seascape. three figures are performing some sort of rite and they are surrounded by fish, coral, etc. There is also a pagoda featured in the sculpture. They only condition issue is a broken fish on the bottom of the piece.
im told it came from the malt house that stood at the rear of the pub until around 1800 and the shovel was used as a decorative item on the wall in the pub.
This lamp has faux crystals hanging from the middle. It is a beautiful brass lamp with a mint condition glass Rembrandt lamp shade. The light works also.
