Presuming India / Asian detail inlayed Wood and Bone scenes depicting traditional, age old India dynasty activities . Carved elephant head legs . Coffee / Tea table and two end tables. would like to know individual as well as set value (??)
I have been unable to find this lamp anywhere on the internet so it makes me nervous to sell it without knowing if it's valuable. All I really know about it is what is signed on it, which is: 'C. Romanelli. Stern Ind. 1953'
Did Romanelli make 1 of a kind pieces & this could be the only one made?
My grandmother is downsizing and she told me that her dining table was a DUX piece that she purchased in 1960. It has always had a table cover on so the wood is in immaculate condition. There are 6 matching chairs with the original upholstery. Also, there are 3 leaves to the table, that unfortunately were not restrained when the table was redone in the 1970s, so they are a slightly different wood tone, but in total the table expands to 11.5 feet. I'm not sure what the set is worth, so any insight on this would be greatly appreciated!
My grandmother bought this bedroom set which includes a long dresser, Gentleman's Chest, and two nightstands in the 1960s/70s. They are Glenn of California by Richard Thompson and in pristine condition except for the tambour doors on the Gentleman's chest which have ripped slightly and one handle came off (still have the handle though). I've attached images. My grandmother is moving into an independent living senior community and doesn't need this second bedroom set so I'm hoping to get an idea of how much it's worth! Thanks!
