1953 lane cedar chest

I have a 1953 Lane cedar chest, style 2949, serial 358150. I am looking for info on the style and value of this item. It was my grandmothers. The key is missing, and the lock does not lock. There are some marks on the lid, but otherwise in good condition.

Ceramic brown coffee pour over. Cone marked with Melitta 102. Bottom marked 102 KL-44 with single hole. Measures approx 4.5" high and 6" wide including handle.
