1924 Glendale High Yearbook with John Wayne (Marion Morrison) signature

Description

Stylus Yearbook 1924, Glendale Union High School, Glendale, CA. Book belonged to Ethel Mildred Brockway with personal notes (two name cards and Spanish homework) inside in excellent condition. Yearbook signed by many faculty and students, notably Marion Morrison (who became John Wayne). Marion Morrison's name and picture appears on several pages: p. 47, in school play "Dulcy"; p. 59 as Cabinet, Second Semester, Junior Representative; p. 75 as a member of the Stage Crew; p. 121 as Junior Class Vice President (signed by Marion Morrison); p 131 as recipient of 2 Honor Pins (no photo); and p. 159 as part of football team.
