good condition with some nicks and scratches, chip or flaw on handle (see picture), sterling band tarnished

owned by my wife's great uncle who would be well over 100 years old now, he was a career military officer

We have a 41" diameter brass tabletop made in India, given to us by our grandparents. The piece has a beautiful floral engraving and appears hand hammered. there is a very nice patina on the table. We were wondering, if any, what value it may have.
