May be mahogany or cherry, but is a dark wood. Very heavy, all wood, no pressboard. Must of been part of a set. Intricate carvings, very well made. Beautiful piece of furniture. Has 2 deep drawers behind the middle doors, and 11 drawers in all. Lots of storage space and it is in excellent condition.
