My mother found these items when she sold her parents house.  She gave them to me about 35 years ago and I put them in my attic.  Last year we sold our house and came across them.  I have been unable to find out how old they might be.  The internet informtion deals with kids lunch boxes.  The history does not seem to go back far enough?

This came form an ocean community with an amusement park.

I believe this was a sales demo that was used to sell the larger size carousel horses that were used in amusement parks around New England.

We are trying to find out any information about this piece of furniture. All we know is that it beloed to my husband's grandfather and he received it as payment for legal fees in the 1930's.

This painting is very large...it is of a brass kettle with white and orange flowers...very beautiful...has a brass plate with ANEMONES MUMS on top and COLAO underneath it. 

 Also has R. Colao signed on the bottom left hand corner.  The bronze frame is very heavy and is very articulated and detailed. 

On the back there are hanging directions.

this chest is very elaborate with a new haven clock on the top, 3 small boxes built into it, and has alot of carving around the lid, and carved legs, as well as a carved front
