All I know about this item is it's called a Spiral Twist Side Ejection Candleholder, possibly French, late 18th or early 19th century. Estimated value $250 - $350 according to an auction house I sent some pictures to.
The plates have a green and gold ring on the outer edge of the plates. Each plate has a different scene and music written in French. The plates are in excellent condition and show very little if any wear. They have never been used and only displayed for a short time in 1947 and 1948. Since then they have been carefully stored and cared for.
This is a glass paerweight in great condition. It's a glass dome with an inserted reproduction (I think) of a castle. Written at the bottom the the drawing is "Castle in 1798, No. 955" . There is a hallmark nest to that. Slight scuffing on the top of the dome, otherwise in beautiful condition.
This is a complete set of 22 pieces consisting of 8 cups and saucers, creamer and sugar w/lid teapot w/lid. Every piece is stamped on the bottom with Hutschenreuther Arzberg-Bavaria Germany and the saucers have an additional stamp of Made in Western Germany.
I am interested in any information about this set and the true value of it
