1925 Colonial Country Club Golf Trophy

Category
Sports Cards and Sport Items
Condition
Excellent
Description

Since my grandmother passed away we have no idea where this came from.  In 1925 she was to young to even play golf.  It is very odd.  We can not find any records of a Colonial Counrty Club in Arkansas BUT we do know that she did live in Texas during the 50's and that is where the famed Colonial Counrty Club but not sure if this is from that golf course.  We are somewhat stuck here and we are looking for answers.  So please, if anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Certificate naming Charles Shaw-LeFevre

Category
Books and Manuscripts
Condition
Good
Description

There are a couple of small tears in it, but they don't seem to be noticable.  The paper is onion-like.  It looks like someone had started shading in parts of the seal with a pencil.  I rubbed my finger on it gently, and the pencil marks came right off, but I didn't want to do any damage to it accidently, so I didn't even try to remove the markings.
