This is an old trunk that appears to be a box crate with metal covering. I do not see any markings or brand names on it, so that is why I suspect it is one of the earlier trunks, possibly the 1800's. The inside has wall paper lining, some of which has peeled off and it is stained with age and use. The handles on each side, which I assume must have been leather straps, are gone. Only the hardware for these remains.
This item comprises a 6.5 cm teacup and a 13 cm. saucer. The teacup has a ref. number S.108 25 and Societe Ceramique Maestricht - Made In Holland stamped on the bottom.
The saucer has a ref. number S.78 25 and Societe Ceramique Maestricht - Made in Holland stamped on the bottom.
Both pieces contain several manufacturing inperfections, as can be seen on the picture.
Table can be used as an easel, has unusual legs and holder, side has small damage on edge, The
Pitcure is clear and signed by Norman Rockwell, the regular table legs are in good working order except one has missing rivet. Can you tell me anything about it? How much it would be worth? Unfortunately I am having trouble sending you a picture.
