It has a safety chain to keep from losing it should the clasp come undone. There are 6 diamonds on the clasp as well as a very small pearl in the middle of the clasp. The pearls look to be salt water and the neckalace came from Spain. There are earrings that she gave me to go with the neckalace, but I believe they did not originally come with the neckalace.
Given to me by the family of a wonderful lady I provided personal care for along with many others from 1965-1975 but 70, 71, and 72 are not with the set. None have the boxes but have been kept in the attic well wraped. Her daughter told me that her mom bought them every year. They look absolutely brand new, there is no fading on the front or backs of any of them.
This tea set has the most beautiful detail and the gold is amazing. This set only has 5 cups and saucers. One cup has been repaired and one saucer has a chip. The plates look alike but upon looking closer they all have a little difference. The lids on the tea pot, creamer, and sugar have to line up just right and then they form the tail of the dragon.
