Herman Miller Eames Chair & Ottoman. Very likely Rosewood, but unable to guarantee with 100% certainty this is the wood type (The opinion of two cabinet makers is Rosewood). Exact age is unknown, but this is a family piece and can verify it is from 1973 or prior. All original parts. Leather has scratches as noted in pictures, but none go through the leather. Armrest leather has minor cracks. Wood has wall scuffs and minor water stains as noted in pictures. Probably a 6.5 on a scale of 1-10. Structure of chair is in very good shape, it was only used for approximately 2-3 years.
4 retro style chairs and matching glass table. Does anyone know anything about them and their value, either individually or as a set of 4 chairs and matching table?
This set has hollow handles and decorative gold plate tines. This has been in the family for generations and was "believed" to be a gift from the royal family to a distant Aunt. It was made in Czechoslovakia and a small peice of paper when translated said that the maker, E.Reimer had a royal commission from Archduke, Carl Franz Josef who was married to Archduchess Zita.
