I am not even sure of the title of this. I have been searching, but cannot find anything. It only says Copyrighted 1884 by C. Klancker. Any information received would be greatly appreciated.
A set of Narumi china: one large plate, 6 small, 6 teacups. Large plate has 3 abstract images of fruit- signed. It's difficult to read the signature: something like "Iku...." Other name; "I..i Each small plate has one fruit image- each one different. The tea cups are plain. Cream on outside, white inside. All pieces have a gold rim.
The set is in its original box- with embossed metal label inside: Mitsukoshi The box is hardshell 'suitcase' with 3 metal clips. The dishes are set into fitted 'slots'
I recently purchased this painting from the thrift store. It is a print of a painting done by Anthony Thieme called Main Street Rockport by the Illinois Moulding company. I know that they mass-produced art, but was just curious if this has any value at all?
This is an intricately carved coffe table that was my grandparents. dont know what kind of wood it is. a piece of glass goes over the carving of the battle scene. They may have gotten it in Libya. there is one flaw where the edge doesnt marry up right. cant find any markings but maybe im not looking in the right place. thanks for your help.
