University of Pittsburgh Time Schedule of Classes Second Semester 1940-1941

Category
Books and Manuscripts
Condition
Excellent
Description

I would like to know the value of the "University of Pittsburgh Time Schedule of Classes Second Semester 1940-1941" that I recently came across while sifting through some old sheet music that was donated to her church rummage sale. The booklet is 28 pages cover-to-cover, and (at least in my opinion) in impeccable condition for its age. Although it is extremely dusty, the only other problems I see are 3 pencil lines underlining Physics classes on page 13 and some very slight wrinkling throughout the booklet. Other than that, there really doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it. I imagine that, it being a time schedule, it would have been extremely worn down from handling by students, therefore I'm curious as to how rare it is to find one of these in this condition. The staples are secure and the pages are still firmly attached without any tears and minimal wear on the binding. It also has tucked in between pages 24 and 25 an Engineering study card with a blank schedule chart printed on the back, looks to be fairly untouched.

Norwegian Travel Chest

Condition
Good
Description

Looking for more information on what this would be considered (travel chest, trunk, lockbox?)

Chest has wrought iron and rivots, carved rosemaling, still have key!  Trunk locks.

Ironwork has hand etched "P J S 1729" on top.  I am curious if this could be date it was made.

Couldn't find anything like it online to reference.

Antique Electric Motor

Category
Vintage Electronics
Condition
Good
Description

Hi, I found a refrigeration cooling unit in my great-grandmother's basement that has been there before she bought the house. I found out that the motor is made by Holtzer-Cabot, and I can't find any other model like it. I put some lubrication in it and it works great, nice hum to it and it sounds great! All I could find was the serial number which is 1567903. I don't know how much it is worth right now (not restored), and how much it would be worth (restored).
