This is a Glass Hatchet / Axe that was retrieved from mother's home located in Southeastern Wisconsin. On the handle it is etched, "M. J. State Fair 1913". We are curious as to what state fair "M. J." would stand for as we are unsure if it was for a local state fair or one in a possible different state. Overall, we would also like to know what the value of this item is.

this beauty was left to my mother by my grandmother, and now to me by my mother. 

unfortunately I have many bills and cremation fees and more to pay, so I'm going to try to get rid of it. 

its been kept in perfect condition in the sewing room since my grandmother had gotten it. 

it still works, and the wood is in perfect condition. In the pictures the only thing is it was still dusty when I took them. since it has been dusted. :)

I'd like to sell it but don't know how much it is worth and the internet did not help much at all... so any information would be appreciated.

It's glass or ceramic or something, its definitely hand painted and beautiful, it has that "M.W" carved into it but I'm not sure what that stands for, most likely the artist. 

My parents passed away this year and in their stuff was this, it was left from when my grandparents passed away (my grandfather was a WW2 fighter pilot). I'm looking to sell it but I can't find anything like it anywhere to even know what it is or what its worth... any help would be appreciated.

I have an antique planter that has been in my family for years(50) at least. I have been really curious what exactly it is and how much it couldbe worth. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The only markings it has is the letter Y followed by 352/850 in pencil on the bottom.
