The maker marks are shown in the pictures. We don't know anything more about these items, and would like to identify the maker and time period, and value.
I bought this at an auction, stamped on bottom made in japan and japan is etched on right side. Theres a hole made in the top of horses body making the horses body hollow. Someone once told me that it was from the 1940's.
Covered pitcher about 6" tall, engraved with a pattern of what looks like palm fronds and a few small flower sprigs. Crest on Bottom says Meriden Silver Plate Co. Quadruple Plate, has the lion holding a vase crest, and the engraved numbers 1356, which I believe is the pattern number. In a catalog online, I found Pattern 1355 and 1357, but not 1356. This looks like a syrup pitcher, but I'm guessing.
This is a 12 peice toy tea set.It is white with hand painted green accents with A large yellow goose and a baby goose with a few flowers painted behind them.It does not have a name on it all it says is made in japan. A sticker on the side of the box says no. 1001-5619 A toy tea set made in japan. Then in pencil 128/59.On another sticker is states PASSED jis s-3003 J.P.I.A.The box is red with small children on it playing.Now for the condtion the paltes are in good shape exept for small knicks on them.The cups 2 have broken handles other 2 are fine.the tea pot and suger and cream holders are all ok.
